Kayaking Or Canoeing For Groups

If you are looking for a fun summer event for your group party, paddling would be a great idea! Whether you are an experienced or beginning paddler, you can enjoy yourself on a calm, scenic lake, with fresh air and make friends with the beavers, the eagles, the loons, and the fish! You may even spot a bear! If you need a little help with your paddling techniques - no problem. Certified coaches will be nearby, ready to give you tips on improving your paddling performance. Boats, paddles, and lifejackets are provided.
After your event, may we suggest having a picnic at the Whonnock Lake Gazebo (that you can rent through the Maple Ridge Parks And Leisure). Contact them at parksandleisure@mapleridge.ca or (604) 465–2452 or view their brochure. We can also suggest a caterer (not affliliated with RCKC) to provide delicious snacks after the event.
Or, you could book the hall in the Whonnock Lake Centre also through the Maple Ridge Parks And Leisure.
The hall has a long waiting list, with many of the events being weddings. Some dates may be available.

At every event you book with us, we ask that you have all of your guests complete and bring in a CKBC Insurance Form.

Business Or Community Group Dragon Boat Team Building
Age: 19 Years and Up
This RCKC program is for groups of people who wish to experience team building through dragon boat paddling. No previous paddling experience is necessary. Fee includes instruction, all equipment and insurance. This program requires a minimum number of 14 paddlers and a maximum number of 20.
